Bawumia as a ‘Too Known' person and Braggart’ – NDC communicator
A Communications Team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Gyamfi has described the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a ‘too known person and braggart’.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, he came to this conclusion after assessing the Nana Akufo-Addo led government after eleven months.
And the performance of the economy, Sammy Gyamfi said indicates that the Vice President during the 2016 electioneering campaign was only going about ‘bragging’.
“It is common knowledge that Dr Bawumia is a braggart and he bragged a lot about having the ability to solve the economic problems of this country…what happened…he is a braggart,” he said.
The NDC has of late been attacking the Vice President for failing to manage the economy to meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
The Former President, John Mahama, started the attacks on the Vice President when he described the Ghana Post GPS which the Vice President spearheaded as a ‘419’ scam.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, followed shortly by accusing the Vice President of constantly peddling falsehood about the economy of Ghana, adding that he lacks knowledge.
“Bawumia has never understood the economy of Ghana. He has always lied about the economy of Ghana but the reality is that he knows nothing but he’s so confident and eloquent [that] he can confuse all of you,” he said at a press conference organized by the Minority.
The NDC Communicator speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Friday continued the attack further by describing the Vice President as a ‘too known and a braggart’ who is failing in his duties as a Vice President.
This claim by the NDC Communicator did not go down well with the a Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Henry Nana Boakye who responded that the NDC Communicator was only being ‘arrogant’.
This resulted in a heated exchange between the two panelists on the show:
