Born with artistic gift of music .Kwabena Boaten popularly known as DaddyBoat grew up exposed to the colorful and energetic sounds of Highlife Music. With this exposure DaddyBoat created his own style—a unique blend of Highlife and hiplife.

Threading together English and Ghanaian lyrics for a bright and captivating sound he always comes up with irresistible ragtime.

Growing up as talented musician, he realized his passion for music and gained a good understanding on music’s effect on people.

Performing at school, and being a leader of Presbytarian Church of Ghana, Calvary Congregation-Maxarthy hill, DaddyBoat developed a very unique style .

He also participated in the maiden edition of Bands alive by TV3  and CAF band during CAN 2008 hosted in Ghana

Daddy Boat is one of the supersonic and expeditive soloists of our engenderment.

As he enters his professional career as a musician ,He has only one recorded track in his discography which is Oyerepa and this does not prong him here but working tirelessly to release more songs as soon as possible.

Currently the Oyerepa video is enjoying massive air play in which Kantanka TV is one of the TV stations promoting it.

Since his name was gusseted into the books of music in Ghana he has always remained the nations favorite beguiling and gladdening masses with his captivating tracks.

According to him ,Kojo antwi inspires him a lot and he is  looking forward to work with okyeame kwame as well

A true good musician must be able to play live, and am invest in his career,He added.

He welcomes any invitation to perform being weddings, parties, corporate events etc

Holding high self esteem is and doing his own thing makes Daddy Boat is different from other artiste in Ghana since he is not in the music industry to imitate anyone’s style of delivery.
