A prophet who speaks lies and Bias is a False Prophet - Journalist Tells Rev Owusu Bempah

In the Bible, the word prophet comes from the Hebrew word nabi, meaning spokesperson. Another Hebrew word, ro’eh, literally means one who sees—a seer. In Greek, the word is profetes, meaning one who “speaks forth” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary of the Old and New Testament Words, 1985).
A prophet is thus someone who speaks for another, foresees the future or proclaims a message.
An important function of a true prophet is found in a statement from God to the ancient Israelites through Moses: “I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19). God was foretelling that, like Moses, Jesus Christ would come as a true prophet and God would speak through Him.
The Bible explains that, in addition to true prophets, there would also be false ones. Anyone who falsely claims to speak God’s words or who teaches errors in His name is not a true prophet.
Another reason given in the Bible is that some people speak from their own imagination. God says, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!” (Ezekiel 13:3-4). Throughout the centuries, numerous false prophets have arisen because of their own desires, interests and Satan’s influence.

A popular social media blogger and journalist Komfa Ishmael has thrown hot jabs at Rev Owusu Bempah that God is not bias so any prophet or man of God who let God appears to be bias in front of  his own people is termed as a false prophet.

He continues to wonder  why Rev Owusu Bempah always prophecy about disasters but not a well-being of the nation and also some of his prophecies always favor NPP.

He want to ask that among the members of NDC ,so is there no body that God can be ordained to lead this Country apart from members of NPP? and why nothing good comes from the NDC party.

In his response to about what Rev Owusu Bempah told Kwame Nkrumah Tik3se about the death of Captain Maxwell Mahama  ,He sees the the Rev to be a big liar. read the story on ghanaweb below

Captain Mahama's death is spiritual - Rev. Owusu Bempah

The question now is, was it God who said because of our Former President Mahama's previous actions  that is why They lynched the Captain Mahama or it was his own opinion?

In his Biblical claims Gibeonites demanded seven men from Saul's sons to be given to them to be hanged to pacify their ancestors which David did.

The question is why not Saul's nephews or any other Saul's family member but his sons?

Because it was Saul who committed the crime and any punishment was to be directed to his direct descendants(sons).

And If God want to punish our Former President Mahama ,why not any of his direct sons but God rather chose his nephew.

Captain Maxwell Mahama is not direct descendant of our Former President Mahama so he cant be punished by God for what He(Mahama) had done previously.

These false teachings can bring division among the Mahama family and a true man of God doesn't bring divisions among families.

Many readers will defend him with Psalm 105:15 but Psalm 105:15 is one of the Scriptures most taken out of context in the Bible. Many have invoked the passage, "Do not touch my anointed ones, and do no harm to my prophets" as a means of skirting accountability for false teaching or prophecies.

When studying Psalm 105:15, Hux says you will see that it has nothing to do with questioning the teachings of church leaders. In this context, rather, the words "touch" and "do no harm" refer to inflicting physical harm upon someone. Specifically, the phrase "touch not the Lord's anointed" refers to David's hesitance to kill King Saul when the opportunity arose. Previously, David indeed had rebuked Saul publicly, and he had done it more than once.

So scrutinizing and analyzing the teachings and prophecies of our Pastors ,Reverend and Prophets is a task of every believer or a Christian ,The Bible said this in

1 John 4:1-6

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

God explains why some people love to listen to lies and fables

God exposed prophets who spoke lies as “an astonishing and horrible thing” and noted that “the prophets prophesy falsely … and My people love to have it so” (Jeremiah 5:30-31). Why would people listen to them?
Before the apostle Paul’s death, he predicted that some brethren would be easily led astray by false teachers. “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
In conclusion to me Rev Owusu Bempah credibility is always doubtful.

Remember Jesus himself criticized and challenged some of the leaders and teachers of his time.

Read Matthew 7:15-20 to conclude everything

This is my opinion.
